International Community School is a K-5 Charter and IB World School located in Dekalb County, Georgia
The ICS focus is on educating the whole child, seeking to develop the innate curiosity of our students while celebrating cultural differences in a challenging, nurturing and intentionally multi-ethnic environment. With the dedication of our faculty and staff, the steadfast support of parents and the larger community, ICS has created a learning environment second to none despite the challenge of inadequate facilities, substandard equipment and non-competitive salaries. We fiercely protect our students' right to music, art, language, physical education and recess while insisting that they meet progress requirements in language arts, social sciences, mathematics and earth science.

The countdown is *almost* over — Global Dragons, welcome back! 🐉✨
We are SO ready to kick off an incredible year at ICS. Mark your calendars for what's ahead:
🗓️ Aug 3 – First Day of School! Come meet your teacher, find your classroom, and jump into the best adventure.
🗓️ Aug 3 – Boohoo's & Yahoo's Kindergarten Parent Social, 8:15 AM at the front picnic tables. Coffee, treats, and community for our K families navigating all the feels of drop-off #1.
🗓️ Aug 7 – Full School Community Gathering, 8:15 AM morning assembly with school songs, cheers, and student shoutouts. Parents & friends welcome!
🗓️ Aug 30 – ICS Dine In (K–2) launching soon! An evening of food, games, and connection for the whole family.
