Adams Health and Adams County Community Foundation to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary and the Adams County Community Foundation's 35th Anniversary with Fort Wayne Philharmonic Patriotic Pops Concert

Decatur, IN – Adams Health and the Adams County Community Foundation are proud to invite the community to a special evening of music and celebration featuring the Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s “Patriotic Pops” performance on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Bellmont High School Auditorium in Decatur.

The concert will commemorate two important milestones: America’s 250th Anniversary and the Adams County Community Foundation’s 35th Anniversary. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend this FREE event honoring the nation’s history and the continued strength of the local community.

The evening will feature a live performance by the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, showcasing a selection of patriotic favorites and inspiring musical pieces. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.

1pm to 5pm on Saturday June 27th, 2026, at Villa Lanes, 1704 Nuttman Ave, Decatur, IN 46733.

Championship trophy award and Mayor’s Challenge announcement will be made at 5pm. $25 per Person or register a team for $10 per additional player (max 4 player for $55). Entry fee(s) includes shoe and ball rental. Registration fee covers the cost of your entry into one of four 50-minute sessions to compete against your session or
against all during the event.

Each session will start at the top of each hour

All ages are welcome and groups are encouraged to keep your strike streak going. Strike-a-thon participants will be eligible for prizes per session and a grand prize trophy.

Don’t miss out on your chance to root for the Bellmont HS Bowlers as they challenge the Mayor of Decatur.

Special Guest Mayor Dan Rickord will be bowling in our Decatur “Mayor’s Challenge”. Bellmont HS Bowling Team will be bowling against the mayor’s team. In a 4 set 16 game competition.
During this head-to-head competition, you are able to donate $1 to add one point to the team of your choice prior to the final point tally.

If the Mayor’s team scores more points during the event he wins and takes home the Strike-a-thon traveling trophy. If the Bellmont HS players wins, the trophy will remain housed at Villa Lanes for us all to enjoy.

Can the Bellmont HS Bowlers beat the Mayor?

Proceeds go to the Bellmont High School Bowling Club and the Decatur Rotary Club Scholarship Fund.

Adams Woodcrest to Host Father’s Day Antique Tractor Show

Adams Woodcrest invites the community to celebrate Father’s Day with an Antique Tractor Show on Friday, June 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Adams Woodcrest main parking lot located at 1300 Mercer Avenue, Decatur, IN 46733 (Use the North Entrance).

The event will feature a display of classic antique tractors, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing afternoon filled with nostalgia, fellowship, and Father’s Day fun. Attendees are encouraged to spend time with friends, neighbors, and loved ones while admiring the collection of vintage farm equipment.

Complimentary snacks will be provided, including hot dogs, chips, and bottled water.

Adams Woodcrest Hosts Line Dancing Class

Adams Woodcrest will host a Line Dancing Class on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. in the Activities Room at Adams Woodcrest located at 1300 Mercer Avenue, Decatur IN 46733. Please use the North Entrance.

The session will be led by seasoned line dancer, Ally Miller, of Bluffton, Indiana and is open to participants of all experience levels. Line dancing offers a fun way to stay active while enjoying music and social interaction.
