The World Cup action explodes today, with 6 games, all happening 2 at a time. Thankfully, we have plenty of screens so no game is left behind. All that action is bound to create a powerful thirst. We're nothing if not considerate...count on every bottle of wine being half the price it is the other days of the week. There's one to complement a Patty Melt, another to go with Tomato Bisque and everything goes wth dessert.

Eighty Dollars. That's what you can win if you come in *second* in DJ Blaq Mozart's Trivia. Why? Because the house team came in second last week. Again. That's 30 bucks more than first! While you compete, enjoy Ground Beef Tacos. Also enjoy all the important World Cup action, starting at 4. The Western Europe, the Eastern Europe, the Africa, the Central America, the South America. It's just a global smorgasbord.

June 22nd, a day which commemorates nothing we can recall. So let's make it a Patty Melt week, shall we? A little rye, a little Swiss, some caramelized onions, some Imperial Island, some pies some Whirled Cup. We'll make it a week to remember! Remember Robert's Trivia!

We've reached a tentative cease-fire with the angry rain gods. They will give us a relatively rain-free weekend and we will give up our nuclear ambitions. The dual-tv-on-the-patio situation is up and running. The USA takes on Prisoner Descendants at 3. We will laugh, we will cry. We will not enrich uranium. USA!USA!

World Cup action begins at noon from downtown. In a fortuitous coincidence, Margaritas are the national drink of both the Czech Republic *and* South Africa, so we'll be looking for thirsty players to get off at East Lake Marta to celebrate after the game. Come for the international party and take selfies with anyone who's not familiar to you. They'll be the players.

Looks like the action will be indoors today. Well, fine! The World Cup rolls on with 4 more games, the Taco for this Tuesday is the traditional Fried Chicken and the House Team came in 2nd last week. You know what that means: 2nd this week is worth $80! Last week’s 1st place winners took home $100, thanks to the intrepid staff having won the prior week. Can you beat ‘em tonight? only one way to find out!

We had a fine weekend kickoff for World Cup and plenty more to come this week. Though Atlanta hosts its first game at noon, we're gonna let you head downtown for that. Game 2 is at 3. While our kitchen doesn't open til 4, we'll be in here setting up. Want a beer while you watch? Robert will fetch you one. That and Key Lime and Chocolate Cream Pies are the nice things he'll do for you. Then there's his Trivia Game, at 8. Hopefully, the nice things make up for it. We'll offer you a Blackened Blue Burger with Cajun Mayo as our Burger Of The Week. Exciting times!
