​Hey everyone! We have an important update regarding our monthly Community Bingo!
​Our usual space is getting a much-needed makeover! 🛠️👷‍♂️ Because renovations are officially underway to improve our facility, we unfortunately have to cancel our upcoming monthly community Bingo game until the work is complete.
​
​Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we improve our space. Rest assured, we’ll be back with great prizes, a fresh new look, and the same awesome community spirit next month.

🥤 Monday Afternoon Refresh!
​A huge thank you to Kani with Concho Hearts Hospice for bringing some serious flavor to our Monday! 🥤
​Kani stopped by with a "dirty soda" pick-me-up that was a total hit with our staff. It was the perfect afternoon treat to keep the energy high and the smiles going as we kick off the week.
​We are so grateful for our friends at Concho Hearts and appreciate Kani for taking such great care of our team!

🎶 Boot Scootin’ Fun with Andy Goin! 🎶
​We had a total blast today at Decatur Medical Lodge as we welcomed the incredibly talented Andy Goin, the Concho Hearts Singing Cowboy! 🤠
​The energy was high, the music was classic, and the dancing was non-stop. From tapping toes to full-on boot scooting, our residents and staff filled the room with smiles and some pretty impressive moves! There’s nothing like those traditional country tunes to bring everyone together.
​A huge thank you to Andy Goin for sharing your voice and spirit with us, you definitely made our day a little brighter and a lot more musical!

💙 Wrapping Up Nurses Week at Decatur Medical Lodge! 💙
​What an incredible week we’ve had celebrating the heart and soul of our facility! To bring Nurses Week 2026 to a close, we teamed up with the wonderful Traci from Angels Home Health for one final, delicious celebration.
​Our department heads pulled out all the stops today with a full Potluck Spread, and Traci helped us keep the energy high with a fantastic Candy Bar! 🍬🥗 It was the perfect way to recharge, satisfy a sweet tooth, and spend some quality time together as a team.

​Sweet Treats: Huge thanks to Angels Home Health for the sugar rush to power us through the shift. 🍫

​To our Decatur Medical Lodge Nurses: You are the backbone of our facility. Your dedication, compassion, and expertise provide our residents with more than just care, you provide them with a home. We are so proud of the work you do every single day!

Today was such a beautiful, spirit-filled day as we celebrated the incredible women of Decatur Medical Lodge! 🌸 There is no love quite like a mother’s, it is a reflection of God’s own grace, patience, and unconditional devotion.
​We spent the afternoon surrounded by laughter, sweet treats, and even sweeter memories. It was a joy to see so many families come together to honor the matriarchs who have prayed us through our hardest days and cheered us on through our best.
​🙏 A Moment of Gratitude
​We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 31:28:
​"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."
​To our residents, our staff who are moms, and the grandmothers and great-grandmothers who fill these halls with wisdom: You are a blessing from the Lord. Your legacy of faith and love continues to shine brightly.
