ATTENTION:
Next week we will be having work done on the WHOLE parking area of Central Christian Church- sealing and repairing all of our lot.

We are asking everyone not to park in any of the parking lot surrounding the building from Monday, June 8, to Friday, June 12. The lot should be completed in time for Sunday services on June 14, so no worries about Sunday morning. If you need to come to the church building this week from Monday to Friday, please be ready to park on the streets surrounding Central (William, Pine, and North, but not Monroe, of course). Please also be aware that around 9:00 AM & 12:00 PM each day will be a drop-off and pick-up for a kids camp at the Tower entrance, so William Street will be particularly busy around those times.

If you have any questions regarding the parking lot repair, please feel free to call the office at 217-428-4336 from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and we will answer any questions you may have.

Summer Sunday School News for Families
We will begin summer Sunday School for our 4 year olds – 5th grade children on Sunday, June 7. Sunday School is from 9:30-10:15.
We will be meeting throughout the summer downstairs in the Disciples’ Room. We meet each Sunday of the month, except for the last Sunday, when children stay in worship with their families. Our 6th-12th grade class will take a break from meeting in the summer and will resume meeting again in September.
We have fun activities planned around Bible stories. We hope your children will join us.

Challenge your noodle with a day of learning, socialization, activities, and movement.
Adults 18 and over are invited to this day long education event focusing on brain health and well-being. Attendees are encouraged to visit with the many social service organizations that will be on-site and available during the Expo.

Praying with Color is a way to “visibly” pray. This style of prayer is based on Sybil MacBeth’s book, Praying in Color. If you joined me in the first session (November, 2025), please bring your blue folder with resource info.
