Back-to-School Season is Underway!

A new school year has a way of reminding us that life moves in seasons.

For some, it's exciting. For others, it's bittersweet. Routines change, schedules fill up, little ones grow a little bigger, and new chapters begin. Change isn't always easy -even when it's good.

As we step into this new season, remember that it doesn't have to be perfect. You don't have to have every answer or every routine figured out on day one. Grace goes a long way, and faithful steps forward are more important than perfect ones.

We're praying for every student, teacher, parent, and family in our community. May this school year be filled with wisdom, growth, new friendships, and the reminder that God walks with us through every season.

Four years ago, Lighthouse Acres walked through the doors of this house with no idea all that God had planned. We simply said "yes." Looking back now, I can honestly say He did immeasurably more than we could have ever asked or imagined. These walls have witnessed tears, healing, prayers, laughter, hard conversations, babies being loved, young moms finding hope, and lives being forever changed. And if I'm honest... one of the lives He changed the most was mine.

This season taught me to trust Him in ways I never had before. It taught me that ministry isn't about a building, it's about being faithful with whatever He places in front of you. God used this home to prepare us for what was next.

We are so thankful to Cannon Property Management & Cannon Realty for opening this door to Lighthouse Acres four years ago. Your willingness to take a chance on us gave women and babies a safe place to land, and we'll always be grateful.

Today we close the door on this chapter with hearts full of gratitude. There are so many sacred memories within these walls that we'll carry with us forever. As we step into our new home, we do so with the same prayer we had four years ago: "Lord, let this place be used for Your glory."

Thank You, Lord, for every life You allowed us to walk beside here. Thank You for preparing us before opening the door to this next season.

We celebrate the love of our Heavenly Father-a love that brings hope, healing, and security no matter what stage of life or relationship we're in.

At Lighthouse, we are honored to support single fathers through Embrace Legacy, a community designed to encourage and equip dads on their parenting journey. Through fellowship, parenting classes, and practical support, we walk alongside fathers as they grow in confidence and purpose.

Today, we are especially thankful for the men who are doing the hard work, showing up, being present, leading with integrity, and investing in the lives of their children and those around them.
