If you’ve lost a spouse, family member, or close friend, you don’t have to go through the journey of grief alone. GriefShare is a caring, supportive program that combines practical video teaching, group discussion, and a workbook to help participants find hope, comfort, and encouragement as they heal.

GriefShare will meet Thursday evenings from 6:00–7:30 p.m., August 27 through November 19, at the Decatur Church of Christ.

Friends and Family Day is this Sunday!

We’d love for you to join us at Decatur church of Christ on August 2 for worship, fellowship, and a meal together. We’ll enjoy lunch following morning worship, then gather again for an early afternoon service.

Some sermons stay with us because they remind us of truths we need to hear again and again.

This Wednesday, Rodney Livingston from Leoma church of Christ will join us for the final night of Decatur’s Summer Series, “My Favorite Sermon.” We look forward to hearing a lesson that has been meaningful to him and encouraging in his walk with God.

After the lesson, we’ll also enjoy an Ice Cream Social, so make plans to stay for a time of fellowship as we close out this year’s series together.
