Help Meow Ta Here
Help Meow-ta Here seeks to reduce the number of feral cats in the Decatur, AL area through a program of trap, neuter, and return (TNR).
🌸Rescue in Progress Now @ Trinity Cat Colony🌸 So far, we caught 4. We will keep you posted !
🐈Trinity Cat Colony🐈 A man passed leaving his friends behind, the cats were surviving without food and water. We didn’t know there was not a caretaker until this afternoon when someone mentioned. We went there tonight to feed dry food, wet food and water. We will do it every day until we can rescue them all. We will never let the cats to be hungry. They deserve better.
We need your help with their medical fee. We can feed them and take care of them but we don’t have any fund left to give them the medical. We are trying to trap them soon to take the two sick kitties to vet clinic and the rest of the kitties to spay and neuter clinic. Once they are fixed and vaccinated, we have a cat sanctuary for them to live safely forever. Please help us to change their life forever !

Edited : URGENT‼️ Feeder needed for Trinity Cat Colony 🙏 We are learning more about this colony, they don’t currently have a caretaker. They were living without food and water for days 😿 until this lady went there to look at the property. Please let us know if you can be their feeder. It’s not too far from Decatur. We will provide their cat food. We were told one kitty may have encephalitis and the other kitty has injury on the body and maggot in it 🙀. We can’t leave them there. We are in a hurry to go rescue them, we need your help to take two sick cats to the clinic and four cats to spay and neuter clinic. Please share so we can help them soon.

😿A man passed leaving his friends behind in Moulton😿 There are at least 6 cats left behind and the house is for sale. The volunteers are feeding cats now but once the house is sold, it will most likely be torn down and cats will lose their home. We want to move them to our sanctuary but we can’t until we spay/neuter and vaccinate them. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough fund.
Is there a local business in North Alabama which can support spay/neuter community cats? It will cost approximately. $60 per cat, it will change the cat’s life forever. If they can be spay/neuter and vaccinated, we will move them to sanctuary. There are so many community cats who need help, and because there are so many community cats who need help, we feel strongly that we need help not only from individuals but also local business. We are 501(c)(3) non profit organization and we will ask you to donate straight to our account @ North Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic, so you will know every thing is being used to help community cats. Please help… we are trying to do our best but we are out of fund completely and we can’t continue by ourselves. If you know a cat friendly local business, please share 🙏
TNR in Morgan Co. 🐈🐈🐈 We continue to spay and neuter community cats. Kittens are cute, but cat colony gets big very quickly, we need to stop this cycle. If you can, please send direct support to our account @ North Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic so that we can make community cats life a lot easier without endless pregnancy 🐈💖

🐈 Ricotta’s Update 🐈 She made it 🎉 We can’t be happier ♥️
We have a little issue. Her surgery and follow up appt. was $1,500. Even with some generous donations, it completely swiped off our bank account 😔. Since we receive no grants, we are always low on fund and this year, we are more aggressive toward TNR which will prevent for kittens to be born just to survive. Our fund in the bank account was supposed to go toward community cats spay and neuter appointments, and we have many appointments coming up. This means it will be paid by our volunteer’s pocket.
We are all volunteers, we are happy to spend our time and effort to help our community cats. However, if it impact us financially, we have no choice but to slow down the TNR and it will lead more kittens to be born homeless. If you can support our TNR, we have account @ North Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic and the fund goes straight to our account. We will do the best we can to help these community cats. We would appreciate your support !

🐈Our bottle fed baby, Ricotta’s update🐈 Ricotta had a severe infection after spay surgery, it all happened so quickly and she went to ER vet yesterday and she had a surgery to remove all the infected tissue and flash out everything🥺. Thanks to the great care at Summit Veterinary Urgent Care, Ricotta felt much better after that and she started to eat and move better 💖 She went to follow up at Animal Tracks Veterinary Hospital and they did another CBC (complete blood count) to confirm the numbers are improving ‼️Still low, but definitely better than yesterday! Her temperature is going down, too. We are hopeful she will pull through this✨
We can’t thank enough for all the support Ricotta is receiving. She was a rescue from trailer place where her mom is a community cat and she keeps having babies, and supposedly left the kittens around 2 weeks old. When we rescued her, she was so little and she had ring worm so she had to be treated. Her life started rough, we want to make it a lot better for her ! Thank you for your support, we will keep u posted ♥️ .
🙏Please share🐈🙏 Our bottle fed baby, Ricotta, is fighting the severe infection after her spay surgery. She was doing fine and all of the sudden, she started to decline. She went to ER vet today and she had a surgery, ER veterinary found out the infection extended in the abdomen and she is in a critical condition. Her CBC (complete blood count) is not good, she is anemic. The ER veterinary did everything she could and we are hoping she pulls through. The total cost was a little over $1,400 and we would really appreciate if you could help us to support Ricotta.
🐈Pregnant mama(s) rescue🐈 It was a long night…
🐈 Dumped kitten rescue in Decatur 🐈 We received an urgent request for the kitten who was dumped @ burger place near beltline rd. The kitten and her sibling were dumped and living in the ditch and her sibling was hit by a car 🥺. When we went there to rescue her, she was alone and she came out from ditch immediately and asking for help.
Thankfully, she went into the trap ♥️ She looks comfortable in the new place and she seems to understand she is safe now. We will do everything to make sure she will never have to go through this, ever again ‼️
