OSC is proud to present RENT as our farewell production. RENT follows a group of young artists, musicians, and friends navigating love, ambition, HIV/AIDS, and more while trying to build lives on their own terms. Inspired by Puccini's La Bohème, this barrier-breaking musical poses the question: What do we leave behind?

Caleb Baldwin (Director, Choreographer, Set & Costume Design) is a director, choreographer, performer, and designer. He is a recent graduate of Athens State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He has directed a variety of shows including Spring Awakening, Songs For A New World, Godspell, and Heathers: The Musical. Some of his favorite past roles include Gabe in Next to Normal, Emcee in Cabaret, Blackstache in Peter & the Starcatcher, and Roger in Rent. In his very little spare time, he enjoys horror movies, q***r media, and fantasy novels.

IN-PERSON AUDITIONS

🌈 In-person auditions will be held at the OSC rehearsal space at the Decatur Daily located at:
201 First Ave. S.E.. Decatur, AL 35601
Please park in the lot directly across from the new ACA Residence Hall.
📹 Those chosen for callbacks will be notified ASAP after their audition. Callbacks will be held by invitation at 5:00pm Tuesday, May 5th in the OSC rehearsal space at the Decatur Daily.
