But what matters most to him is mentorship. Through the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry and the ITI scholarship program, Dr. Martin has spent decades mentoring clinicians who return to their communities to teach, lead, and share what they’ve learned.

As he shared, in life we all search for purpose, and for him that purpose has been caring for patients, mentoring and educating the people around him.

Seeing those scholars step onto stages of their own is one of the most rewarding parts of that journey.
