Buried wire was installed around the perimeter of the deck to prevent animals from digging underneath and establishing a den site. This creates an underground barrier that discourages digging behavior and helps protect the structure from future wildlife intrusion.

Ridge vent protection 🏡

Ridgeguard installation helps protect one of the most common entry points on a home...ridge vents. These areas are often targeted by wildlife looking for access into attic spaces.

Adding proper protection helps prevent future damage and keeps the structure secure. 💪

Raccoon exclusion on a split-level home 🦝🏡

This job involved installing raccoon box-outs, but the home was also undergoing roof replacement after storm damage. To avoid work being removed during construction, exclusion work was paused until the new roof was completed.

In the meantime, traps and a camera were set for three weeks at no additional charge to ensure no new raccoons moved in during the insurance process. Once the roof was finished, the box-outs were completed the same day.

After installing eviction measures, this female raccoon began relocating her kits to an alternate den site. Once activity has ceased, we can move forward with permanently securing the entry point.

Bats were roosting in a vacant chimney flue and gaining access into the home through missing bricks in the chimney, which led into wall voids.

Since the chimney was inactive, we sealed it off and completed the necessary work to prevent further wildlife entry. 🏡
