Dear Clients,

Yesterday, I had an accident at the gym that resulted in a complete anterior dislocation of my shoulder. This is the first time this has ever happened to me and I’m not totally sure what to expect as far as my healing process. I am waiting to hear from an orthopedic specialist to see if there is any damage to the muscle, ligaments, or tendons in my shoulder. After that appointment, I will have a clearer view of what’s next.

As of right now, I am in and out of a sling and able to do slight movements. My movement is very limited and painful right now. I am praying for some relief over the next few days/weeks. But as of right now, I just don’t know. Being a hairstylist, my arms/shoulders are everything, so its extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, it is my dominant (left) arm.

I will update everyone as I have more information. Right now your prayers are very much appreciated. Thank you all for understanding. If you have an appointment this week, I will be in touch about rescheduling.
