Starting 6/1/26, our journeyworker rate is $53.00 per hour. In addition, the pension credit has increased to $130 per credit.

There is a direct correlation between the gains we have made at the bargaining table and the strength of our great union. A strong membership leads to a stronger voice, stronger negotiations, and better wages and benefits for all.

Please join us in welcoming our newest members, Caleb Cross and Mitchell Lingle to Laborers Local One!

Both Caleb and Mitchell are military veterans beginning new careers in the trades. Caleb, a Navy veteran, will start with KWCC Inc., a premier self-perform general contractor. Mitchell, a National Guard veteran, will begin with John Keno & Company, a veteran-owned mass scale excavation contractor.

Through the GI Bill, both will receive the difference between apprentice and journeyman wages during their apprenticeship—allowing them to earn full-scale pay while building lifelong careers.

At Local One, we’re proud to create opportunities for the next generation of laborers, especially the veterans who have served our country.
