Friday, May 6th: Tripoli Menu

Friday's menu will be in honor of the Jewish people who made Aliya from Tripoli, Libya.
On the menu you will find refreshing Fattoush Salad and Chraime (tilapia in a red sauce) for the first course.
For main course we are offering delicious Mafrum (this is a mixture of spiced ground beef baked inside a potato slice sandwich cooked in a tomato sauce), Housemade Couscous (really made from scratch), Cauliflower Dish ( roasted cauliflower with lemony tahini and mint). Of course there is always room for dessert, sweet Safra Cake (a rich semolina cake with hints of orange and honey) !

Every year, around this time, the smell of fresh lemons permeates the air in our kitchen.

That's because our first project after our kitchen is clean and ready for Passover is making Preserved Lemons for our Moroccan Chicken. It smells wonderful! 🍋

We were honored to provide this delicious breakfast and boxed lunch for a visiting high school.

Since it is the last week before we clean for Passover, we, like everyone else, want to use our chametz and kitniyot up!

🌸 On Tuesday's menu, always a crowd favorite, Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons and Dressing for starters.
For the main course, Pasta Primavera (pasta tossed with a creamy sauce and fresh vegetables), with an optional addition of salmon or mock crab to up-grade the meal. Remember our scrumptious Cappuccino Cupcakes for dessert!
