Water doesn’t HAVE to be boring!

Flavored Water You Can make

SPRING CLEANSE ~ YOUR BODY ~ If you really want to cleanse your body, then DRINK, DRINK, DRINK. Here are 8 home made vitamin water recipes to help you keep the water flowing!

As a rule, you should try to avoid as much as possible industrial food and beverages

1) The classical : lemon/cucumber:
Mix in a pitcher: 10 cups of water + 1 cucumber and a lemon, thinly sliced + 1/4 cup fresh finely chopped basil leaf + 1/3 of finely chopped fresh mint leaves. Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

2) The granite : Strawberry/Lime or Raspberry/Lime
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 6 strawberries / 0r Raspberries and one thinly sliced lime + 12 finely chopped fresh mint leaves. Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

3) The digestive : Fennel/citrus
First: infuse 1 to 3 grams of dried and crushed fennel in 150 ml of boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool.
Mix in a pitcher: 10 cups of water + lemon juice (put the leftover lemon in the mix) + a small thinly sliced orange + 12 fresh chopped mint leaves + the infusion of fennel seeds. Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.

4) The antiOX : Blackberry/Sage
Note that a part from the berries, sage leaf's is the herb that has the highest antioxidant content.
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 1 cup of blackberries that have been very slightly crushed + 3-4 sage leaves. Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.

5) Watermelon : watermelon/Rosemary
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 1 cup of watermelon cut into cubes + 2 rosemary stems. Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.

6) The exotic : Pineapple/Mint
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 1 cup of pineapple cut into cubes + 12 fresh mint leaves finely chopped. Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

7) The traditional : Apple/cinnamon
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 1 cup of apple cut into cubes + 2 cinnamon sticks + 2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

8.) The Zingibir : Ginger/tea
In advance: heat 1 teaspoon of ginger in two cups of tea, let it cool down.
Mix in a pitcher: 10 cups of water with two cups of the ginger tea + 4-5 pieces of fresh ginger cut into cubes. Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.

This is how I transform plain yogurt into a snack I would feel comfortable giving to my family.

Prepackaged flavored yogurt is full of sugar and food dyes 🚫🚫🚫

Its overly processed and loses a lot of its health benefits that you think your getting from eating yogurt…

Good gut bacteria
A healthy breakfast

Truth is your not getting any of those benefits feom store bought traditional yogurt…

This is my easy in between solution…

I buy plain greek full fat yogurt (organic if your budget allows)
Use my favorite sweetener, honey

And your favorite flavor, my family loves vanilla. I had a lot of vanilla bean piwder left over from my Christmas hot cocoa recipe.

You can use any jams, preserves or frozen berries that you love

For a 32 oz container of yogurt

6 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of vanilla bean powder or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Mix in a bowl and store it.

Now my next level healthy yogurt would be to make my own yogurt from acratch and add in all the healthy bacteria I want to it. For this I would need a lesson from the yogurt master herself, my motherinlaw Shelley Jimerson she makes fantastic greek yogurt from scratch!!!

Since 2009, I’ve worked with over a thousand men and women on weight loss and lifestyle changes. I am a wife, a mother of four, business owner, a business owner, and fiercely passionate about helping other people take charge of their health.

Eating the Standard American Diet from a young age left me with a host of issues including a stomach ulcer, asthma, allergies, and a consistent string of other illnesses. I was overweight, insecure, unfocused and constantly fighting fatigue and sickness. The more I medicated, caffeinated, and filled my plate with the wrong foods, the worse I felt. It was a cycle that felt impossible to break.

In my mid-20’s, I was introduced to chiropractic care which led me to cleaner eating habits and the gym. As I continued to make lifestyle changes I lost weight, I gained energy and I felt almost immediate progress with my health. However, my progress is not linear, and I struggled to maintain my weight loss, gaining over 90 pounds with the pregnancy of my first set of twins in 2009. After years of trial and error, as well as time spent on research and education, I was finally able to release my excess weight and break free from the health issues that plagued me.

I now look forward to showing up each day working to master my own diet and lifestyle to teach, coach, and lead others to their best lives.

Dont forget your kids foods… a lot of these can be triggers for ADHD and a lot of other childhood diagnoses…

Weight loss isn’t an easy feat to conquer. As we get older, our bodies change, our metabolism slows down making it hard to shed unwanted weight.

Here are three easy tips to help you get in shape:

1️⃣ Reduce refined carbs. Refined carbs are stripped of almost all fiber, vitamins, and minerals and therefore are considered “empty calories.”
Foods like sweets, pasta, white bread, and sugary drinks contain refined carbs which cause spikes in blood sugar and insulin levels.

2️⃣ Downsize your portions. To avoid overeating, you can prepare your meals in advance, share food when in a restaurant, eat slowly and only if you feel hungry.

3️⃣ Consume the right amount of fiber. Fiber helps with your digestive health, disease prevention, weight control, and keeps you full for longer. To increase your fiber intake, eat foods such as lentils, black beans, peas, broccoli, raspberries, pears, and oatmeal.


There are many benefits to prepping your meals in advance, such as saving time and maintaining weight loss goals.

Here is what you need to know about meal prepping:

1️⃣ Investing in quality meal prep containers is essential not only for storing your food but keeping it fresh for as long as needed. Opt for glass, plastic, or stainless steel containers.

2️⃣ Choose and plan your meals - you can start by planning your menu for the next couple of days. The easiest thing you can do is prepare a big batch of something you love eating, like grilled chicken, and then add variation each time. For example, on day one you can have it with salad, and on day two with quinoa.

3️⃣ Prep your meals - pre-cut vegetables and marinate your meat so they’re ready to be cooked. Enjoy!

🚴🏽‍♀️ Put a positive spin on exercising - think of creative ways to sneak in movement into your day. Go on a walk with a friend to catch up instead of sitting down at a coffee shop. Park further away and walk to your destination.

🤾‍♀️ Buy workout clothes you’re excited to wear - there are so many colorful, well-designed and flattering workout clothes. Looking good while exercising will motivate you to do it more often.

🏆 Make working out convenient for you - choose a gym that is nearby, find the right home workout videos. You need to set yourself up for success. Exercising every day will make you happier, stronger and empower you to keep up with your personal program.


It’s an oldie but a goodie… great rules to live by!!


Do you feel like sometimes you are eating because you’re stressed and not actually hungry? We’ve all been there, reaching out for those comfort foods.

Here are three simple steps to follow to make sure you’re in control:

✅ Find out what your stress triggers are - whether you feel overwhelmed because of work, family, or social media, start making notes of when you tend to emotionally eat and think of a solution. For example, if your work schedule has become too hectic, consider going for a walk outside for 10 minutes instead of reaching for a snack.

✅ Do not wait until you get really hungry to eat - if you feel like you’re starving you will want to satisfy your cravings as fast as possible which will not always align with your weight loss goals. Eating regularly can help you make the right food choices.

✅ Have some stress-emergency snacks ready - size does matter so consider having a mini version of the food you are craving. Instead of eating a whole chocolate bar, try having only one piece, and instead of eating an ice cream try having a small ice cream sandwich.
