Happy New Year my friends!! To start off 2024 right, I’m posting my favorite photo that I took in 2023. A flawless brown and blue Angustidens from a now closed site. This area produced some of the most stunning colors and luster that I’ve rarely seen on fossils and shark teeth. I was lucky to be able to hunt it. Here’s to more amazing fossil hunting in 2024!

My first South Carolina Dispensary Bottle! Beautiful blob top and a pretty sticker. This is a Palmetto Rye Whiskey bottle distilled in Baltimore, Maryland and sold right here in South Carolina. I am so excited about this bottle and can’t wait to display it on my new bookshelf.

Blue Makos shark teeth are so beautiful to me! I know this is a pretty common color for fossils, but when they are this vibrant I get excited!

Not fossil related but I wanted to show you all how beautiful the fog was on my walk last night in Daniel Island. Every single picture I took looked like it was a painting. I am in awe of the beauty in this world sometimes. Moments like this are what I live for. 🌁📸

This huge Desori Mako was just barely uncovered right after a large rain here in Charleston. And since I love Mako shark teeth, I couldn’t be more excited.

Perfect Parotodus sp. found while sifting a creek earlier this year. This is species is related to the highly sought after, Paratodus Benedini but has yet to be named. It is still being studied. What an exciting find!
