🏺 Summer Camp Theme Reveal #4: Ancient Art Explorers
This week, we’re traveling back in time.
From cave paintings and Egyptian hieroglyphics to ancient pottery, mosaics, and Greek-inspired designs, campers will discover how art has been used for thousands of years to tell stories, share ideas, and leave a mark on the world.
One of the most magical moments is when kids realize that children just like them were making art thousands of years ago too. 💛
We’ll paint, sculpt, build, explore, and create our own ancient-inspired masterpieces along the way.

Meet Grace 🤍🎨
Three years. Hundreds of young artists. One incredible teacher.
Grace has been part of the CreArt family since the very beginning — from our garage studio days to the Bothell studio we’ve built together. She’s taught Parent & Tot, Little Buds, classes, camps, and birthday parties, and today she leads our Tween programs as our resident Tween Specialist.
Behind the scenes, Grace is also shaping the future of CreArt — building curriculum, developing artist research, and growing the art history resources that make our programs so rich.
Her superpower? Helping students discover that creativity isn’t about being perfect. It’s about exploring, experimenting, and finding your own voice. 🎨
We’re so grateful for the heart, dedication, and imagination she brings to this place every single day. 💛✨

🎬 If your tween has ever said “I have so many ideas but don’t know what to do with them” —
Tweens Movie Makers Studio is coming to CreArt this summer.
July 13–17 · and it’s for ages 10–16.
This week your child becomes a filmmaker — through art. They’ll design mini set pieces, create
movie posters, animate flipbooks, and collaborate on an epic Monster Town project with the
group.
No screens doing the work for them. Just their hands, their ideas, and space to actually build
something.
This is the camp for the creative tween who’s outgrown finger painting but hasn’t found their
thing yet. This might be their thing.
