Do you recognize this phenomenon that occurs in about 0.3% -1.3% of pregnancies? 🤰This is a “true knot”, which happens early on in a pregnancy where the fetus passes through a loop of umbilical cord and forms a knot. 🪢

These are rarely problematic, and often not found until after birth, but can be associated with growth restriction, premature birth, and sometimes fetal heart rate abnormalities in labor. 👀
