One of the things we love most about our practice is the collaboration between our midwives and OBs. For patients who choose or need a C-section, you don’t have to say goodbye to your midwife—you get both your midwife AND your OB by your side! 🤍

This is also why we have all of our midwifery patients meet our OBs during pregnancy. We’d never want a stranger walking into your birthday party! 🎂👶🏼

Even in the OR, your midwife remains right there with you—providing support, helping advocate for your wishes, and finding ways to make your birth experience feel like your birth. Because a C-section doesn’t mean your birth goals go out the window! ✨

Depending on the circumstances, we can still incorporate so many special touches:

Last night was a very special night in the delivery room as Lauren had the opportunity to observe our physicians deliver twins vaginally! A twin vaginal birth is an incredible experience—one that requires preparation, expertise, communication, and an amazing team working together. We are so proud to be part of a practice where our midwives and physicians collaborate closely to support moms and babies throughout their birth experience. Two beautiful babies, one amazing mom, and a delivery room full of teamwork and excitement. 💕. Congratulations to this beautiful family on their newest additions!

There’s something so beautiful about watching a family grow. A brand-new baby, a proud big brother, and parents soaking in the moment they’ve been waiting for. Postpartum care is about more than checking on the baby. We believe that it is about checking in on Mom, too.
