Exceptional Vacations is dedicated to providing high quality vacation opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
We ensure a safe environment that promotes integration, socialization, friendship and fun. Exceptional Vacations is a division of Exceptional Services Group. We provide supervised vacations for adults with intellectual disabilites. Exceptional Services Group also offers counseling and therapy services, as well as wellness services such as yoga and mindfulness training.

Subodh said he wanted to travel on his own. His little sister Aarti said, “Then we need to figure out how to make that happen.” 💙✈️
As his sister, caregiver, and—let’s be real—sister-manager, Aarti understood that this was something Subodh genuinely wanted for his life.
So the question became: How do we support him in making it happen?
Rebecca helped Subodh take that first trip with us, and what started as one opportunity to travel more independently became something he truly loves.
Sometimes support starts with listening to what someone wants for their life—and helping create the opportunity to experience it. 🌎💙

There’s something pretty amazing about hearing a traveler say, “This is where I want to go,” and getting to help make it happen. 🇯🇵✈️
Ethan expressed his desire to see Japan and experience more independent travel, so together we planned a custom Exceptional Vacations trip that gave him the support to do exactly that with Austin along for the adventure!
From experiencing a new country and culture to seeing Godzilla and making memories that are completely his own, this is what we love about travel.
