Kristie’s Journey from First-Timer to River Cruise Leader:

Kristie Smith Keller, one of the advisors in our Oasis Travel Networks family, completely transformed her business after attending ASTA - American Society of Travel Advisors River Cruise Expo. She went from never having seen a river cruise ship to confidently selling her first 22 cabins on a group sailing, hosting multiple groups, and even being named godmother of AMADEUS’ newest ship.

The ASTA River Cruise Expo gave Kristie firsthand experience, valuable supplier connections, and the confidence to take bold steps — a perfect example of how partnership and collaboration in the industry can empower advisors to grow and succeed.

OTN Academy offers a structured, guided, and self-paced learning experience that combines industry-recognized education with practical business support. Participants can begin booking travel as they progress through the program, allowing learning and earning to happen at the same time.

Developed in collaboration with The Travel Institute, ASTA, and CLIA, OTN Academy reflects the evolving needs of today’s travel advisors and provides a clear, supported path into the industry.
