With speculation mounting about LeBron James' potential final season, a media bidding war is inevitable. The league is poised to capitalize on the immense interest surrounding one of basketball's greatest. The question remains: what does LeBron himself want to contribute?

During the introductory press conference for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pat Riley had the entire room laughing when he paused to make sure he gave Bam Adebayo his flowers.

Riley jokingly referenced Bam’s highly publicized Las Vegas dustup with former teammate Tyler Herro, saying:

"I was remiss in mentioning one guy... and I don’t want to get knocked out!" 😂🥊

But then Riley got serious, calling Bam "basically the foundation of this organization" since he arrived in 2019. He also credited Bam with being the absolute driving force in building a relationship with Giannis and convincing the front office that this was the path to a championship.

Not according to Erik Spoelstra. In fact, Coach Spo believes that to accomplish something truly great, you need leadership at every single level. With a roster packed with proven alphas and seasoned veterans, Spo explained how different voices carry the team on different days:

🏀 Pelle Larsson is the young gun rapidly finding and developing his own voice.

"Competing for a title is the hardest thing that we can attempt to do as professionals. So we need all of that." 🏆
