What’s one detail you always notice in a well-designed space?

Behind every great design partnership is a lot of juggling.

Deadlines, ideas, family, meetings, school drop-offs, and everything in between. But when you have someone beside you who gets it, supports you, and grows with you, it all starts to work.

Some days are a juggle. Most days, it just works. 🤍

A built-in should do more than hold books. It can define a transition, create visual continuity, and bring personality into a space.

For this kids’ loft, we used thoughtful millwork, intentional lighting, and curated pieces to make the architecture feel like part of the home, not an afterthought.

Nine years of Leone Interior Designs.
One year of Kathy and Jen as partners.

It started with an unexpected meeting a mutual friend, the middle of COVID, and a connection that quietly became a collaboration. Project after project, they learned how to build, create, and decide together. Years of work came before there was ever a formal partnership.

Then one decision changed everything.

What began as two designers became a team of five. In that first year, they took on 22 projects. Today, Leone is a team of nine and this is still just the beginning.

This anniversary month, we’re taking you behind the scenes: the people, the projects, the process, and the stories that have shaped the studio.

The problem wasn’t the marble.
It was the floor plan.

We gave every inch a job:
sauna where the shower was,
shower where the unused tub sat,
storage where the extra vanity used to live.

What’s left is a bathroom that looks calm and functions like a spa.
