The Chill Out and Scoop Up a Good Book this Summer Reading Challenge is active. It is back dated to May 23, so any reading you have logged since then will count toward this challenge. Remember this is just one way to complete the BRES Summer Reading Challenge. Refer to your packets that went home the last week of school for other options.

Happy Summer Reading, Bears! Mr. Parker has started his summer with a really good book called "When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Peach Pie" by Erin Soderberg Downing. It is the first of four books in The Great Peach Experiment series. It's a fun story about a family healing from a loss by purchasing a food truck and traveling around the Midwest selling pies! Everyone has a goal for this summer adventure and while lots of things don't go exactly according to plan, the family bond definitely grows stronger! Full of fun, mishaps, and a giant muskie (that's a fish) statue this book will be an enjoyable summer read. Mr. Parker definitely plans to read the other three in the series to see what the next Peach family adventure entails. Thanks Mrs. Nicholson for this book recommendation!

5th Grade field trip to Chattanooga! 🐟🐠

From beach reading days to cuddles with the chickens, we have made the most fun out of these last couple of weeks with our students!
