As much as I love the bright colors and fun prints when teaching and hosting events, when I’m playing at home I always find myself gravitating toward neutral sets, soft textures, and grounding colors.
This room feels calm, collected, and quiet in the best way. A space to slow down, shuffle tiles, and enjoy the ritual of the game.

A little “mahjong adjacent” content tonight because I’m officially about to start needlepointing this gorgeous mahjong mat from and I could not be more excited 🪡🀄

POV: I bought a tripod thinking I was about to enter my effortless content creator era… and instead I unlocked a full blooper reel.
Spent 20 minutes adjusting the height, 10 minutes pretending I don’t look deeply uncomfortable, and another 15 reviewing footage where I either look lost, startled, or like I forgot how to be a person.
Anyway, if you need me, I’ll be manually propping my phone against a candle like the humble woman I am.
