Some people are meant to teach you, not travel with you.

Every chapter of your life has a purpose. Some people walk beside you for only a few pages, while others are written into the entire story. The hardest lesson is realizing that holding onto someone who no longer belongs in your journey can keep you from discovering what comes next.

Protect your peace. Guard your heart. Choose the people who celebrate your growth instead of resisting it.

Your story deserves characters who bring hope, honesty, and kindness—not those who leave every page heavier than the last.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is close a chapter with gratitude, turn the page, and keep writing.

Because not everyone deserves a place in your next chapter. 📚

✍🏻The pen is still in your hands. Write wisely.

Meet the Character: Morgan Ellis ⏳🩺

Some nurses save lives.

Some save history.

Morgan Ellis—an experienced emergency department nurse whose life changes forever after one impossible shift.

When a mysterious pocket watch pulls her through time, Morgan finds herself in the middle of history’s greatest moments of crisis. Armed with modern medical knowledge but limited by the medicine of the past, she must make impossible choices that challenge everything she believes about life, loss, and destiny.

🩺 Compassionate when others lose hope.
⚡ Calm in chaos.
❤️ Fiercely protective of every patient she can reach.
📚 Brilliant, curious, and unwilling to accept that “nothing can be done.”

Yesterday I heard a line in a song (Not Broken by Cortex) that stopped me in my tracks:

“You’re not broken. You’re unfinished.”

I don’t know who needed to hear that today, but I know I did.

We spend so much of our lives believing that our mistakes, heartbreaks, failures, or detours somehow define us. We look at the chapters that hurt and assume the story is over.

But unfinished isn’t the same as broken.

An unfinished painting still becomes a masterpiece.
An unfinished novel still has pages left to turn.
An unfinished life still has room for healing, growth, love, and purpose.

Maybe the pieces that feel out of place today are simply waiting for the rest of the story.

Give yourself permission to be a work in progress.

Your past is part of your story, but it doesn’t get to write the ending.

Keep growing.
Keep hoping.
Keep becoming.

Because you’re not broken.

You’re unfinished.
Some of the most beautiful chapters haven’t been written yet.❤️
