Guiding what’s ready to unfold
We believe LOVE is always available and it has an amazing story to tell us. - Jenn Ocken

The truth that uncertainty isn’t something to overcome! You’re not trying to get certain enough to never navigate uncertainty again.
That’s not how this works.
Uncertainty is always there. And that’s actually the point. The contrast between what you know and what you don’t — that’s where the real navigation happens.
The benefit isn’t in solving it. It’s in learning to move through it without abandoning yourself.
That’s the practice.

Did y’all know I am on an improv team. God I hope so! I would love for butts in the seats at Big Couch in New Orleans on Saturday.
Butterr 💛
I sometimes sound awkward and forced. And that’s exactly what I know about alignment.
That awkwardness? That’s my inner knowing. That’s the moment I’m outsourcing myself to what I think I should be instead of what I actually am.
When I push through it anyway — when I perform certainty over that signal — my whole creative self just shuts down. Bitter. Frustrated.
The work isn’t forcing through the awkwardness. The act is listening to it.
Knowing something is true and staying quiet because naming it would be inconvenient. Because your positioning, your messaging, the way people see you, the relationships you’re trying to keep.
So you say yes to things you know you’ll regret. Or at the very least, yes to the things that compound over time as you keep negating what’s valuable and priority for you.
You stay in the gap between who you’re pretending to be and who you actually are. And it costs you everything.
Here’s what I know: You don’t have to stay there.
The moment you name what you’ve been quietly avoiding — the moment you stop performing — you get access to something real. To what’s actually true for you. To your own answers, not the ones you think you’re supposed to give.
There’s a practice in the Creative Return Toolkit called Implicatory Denial Check-In, and it’s for exactly this moment — when you’re ready to stop performing decisions and start returning to yourself and making your next decision from there.
Implicatory denial is one of 35 practices designed to guide your decision-making. No two decisions are made the same way. These tools meet you where you are and ask you to get curious about that space — connecting it with what’s actually important to you.
One price. Lifetime access. Every tool I link in any of my content — across every platform — is yours. Buy into the toolkit once and you’re never buying another practice again.
Your next return is waiting.

Happy to my two puppers
You’re making your own life impossible.
And you think it’s proof you’re serious.
Work has to be hard to be valuable. If it’s easy, it doesn’t count. If it’s fun, it wasn’t real work.
But I have fun taking photos and people pay me really good money for it.
So I’ve been lying to myself this whole time.
What belief are you keeping alive because you think it proves you matter?
There’s 35 practices inside the Creative Return Toolkit built for this exact moment. For when you can see the contradiction but can’t accept it yet.
Time to get honest about what you’re actually believing.
