Baton Rouge volunteer reaches 5,200 hours at food bank Bus Culotta has reached 5,200 hours of volunteering at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, making him the first volunteer in the organization’s history to reach this milestone.

Our Summer Feeding Program provides free meals for children across our service area while school is out and access to free or reduced-price school meals is limited.

We're partnering with Entergy to help provide food to our neighbors this Friday at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center.

The distribution begins at 8 AM and will end at 9:30 AM or until supplies last.

Join us Wednesday, May 27, at Zachary Youth Park!

Thanks to the support of Popeyes foundation and Feed the Children, we’ll be distributing shelf-stable food items, hygiene essentials, and personal care products from 11 am to 1 pm, or while supplies last.

Strong partnerships and collaboration are essential to supporting our neighbors in need.

We recently hosted leaders from the Joe Burrow Foundation and Three O’Clock Project as we continue working together to improve access to nutritious food across our community.

We had the honor of recognizing Belaire Magnet High School’s JROTC program for earning the Top School Award for their incredible service to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank mission.

Stamp Out Hunger is this Saturday!

Your mail carrier will deliver a paper bag to your mailbox this week. Simply fill it with non-perishable food items and place it by your mailbox before your regular mail delivery time on May 9. Letter carriers across the city will collect donations and deliver them to the Food Bank to help neighbors facing hunger.
