This week, the LSU Foundation launched The Performance Lab, a reflection of our team’s commitment to continuous growth, stronger leadership, and elite outcomes for LSU and the donors we serve.

We kicked off the series with an inspiring session with LSU Football GM Billy Glasscock, followed by a team-wide SMART goals workshop that challenged each of us to translate learning into action. Geaux, team!

On Friday, LSU and FMOL Health celebrated the opening of the new FMOL Health Learning & Laboratory Wing in the historic Huey P. Long Field House, creating advanced spaces for hands-on learning, research, and collaboration. The philanthropically funded wing will expand opportunities for students, strengthen Louisiana’s healthcare workforce, and support communities across the state.

Real-world experiences beyond the classroom shape our students' futures in powerful ways. Donor generosity creates the freedom for students to say "yes" to internships and immersive learning experiences that build confidence, deepen expertise, and shape their futures.

“I just can’t believe what I can do for LSU.”

That conviction guided Bill Barineau’s philanthropy and inspired gifts that continue to make a difference at LSU today. Through four endowed professorships and an engineering enrichment fund, his legacy lives on in the lives of Tigers across generations.
