The best days of Berkeley’s life are still ahead!

Berkeley is located in Maryland.

Berkeley’s story didn’t start the way it should have. Found as a stray and never claimed, it’s clear life hasn’t always been kind to him. But somehow, this sweet boy still greets each day with a wagging tail, a happy heart, and hope that his forever family is out there.

Berkeley is a German Shepherd with an incredibly gentle spirit. He doesn’t ask for much - just a soft bed to call his own, nutritious meals, kind hands, and a family who will show him the love he’s always deserved.

With a little time, good food, grooming, and plenty of TLC, we know this handsome boy will absolutely blossom. More than anything, Berkeley is ready for confidence, happiness, and the security of knowing he’ll never be abandoned again.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will repay your kindness with endless love, Berkeley is waiting to meet you.

There is no fee or obligation for the application. If you’d like to meet Berkeley, please complete an adoption application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. You just might be the happy ending he’s been waiting for.

Big dog, bigger heart!

Goliath is located in Maryland.

Meet Goliath. A true gentle giant with the heart of a teddy bear. Despite everything he’s been through, this handsome German Shepherd has remained incredibly kind, affectionate, and eager to love.

Goliath is still learning that people can be trusted, but every volunteer who spends time with him falls for his sweet, gentle personality. Even the shelter veterinarian remarked on what an exceptionally loving, even-tempered dog he is - not something they see every day in German Shepherds!

This big boy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and All Shepherd Rescue covers all treatment costs. We’ll also provide an experienced volunteer to guide you through the simple 60 day protocol, which includes a few vet visits and temporarily restricting activity to calm leash walks.

Goliath gets along well with other dogs, is crate trained, rides nicely in the car, and would much rather lean in for cuddles than cause any trouble. If you’ve been looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul, Goliath is ready to fill that role.

If you’re interested in meeting this lovable giant, there’s no fee or obligation for the app. Start the process today at www.allshepherdrescue.com. He just might be the missing piece your family has been waiting for.

Want to help, even if you can't adopt? Heartworm treatment is expensive, and donations make it possible for us to continue saving dogs like Goliath. If you'd like to help with his care, donations can be made through Venmo () or on our website. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

From heartbreak to hope…Cinnamon’s story Is just beginning!

Cinnamon is located in Maryland.

At just 10 months old and 42 pounds, Cinnamon has already overcome more than dogs ever should. Found as a stray with a broken leg, she was then saved at the very last minute from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter.

Now for the best news! After evaluation by the specialists at Skylos Sports Medicine, Cinnamon’s leg is healing beautifully on its own, and she won’t need surgery! The only thing she’ll need is a family who understands that high-impact dog sports aren’t in her future.

What is in her future? Cuddles. Love. Loyalty. And being someone’s very best friend.

Cinnamon is an incredibly sweet and affectionate German Shepherd mix who has never let her past define her. She’s crate trained, house trained, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She has so much love to give and is more than ready to leave her difficult beginning behind for a lifetime of comfort and companionship.

If you think Cinnamon could be the missing piece of your family, we’d love to hear from you! Please complete our online adoption application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. There is no fee and absolutely no obligation for the application.

Meet Cyrus - your future best buddy!

If you’re looking for a young German Shepherd with brains, personality, and endless potential, 1 and a half year old Cyrus is ready to steal your heart.

This handsome black shepherd is everything you’d expect from a growing youngster - playful, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy! He loves playing with other dogs, is crate trained, housetrained, and already has a great head start in training. He’s learning his leash manners every day and is eager to keep learning with his new family.

Cyrus would make an incredible hiking companion, active family dog, or even a candidate for dog sports thanks to his inquisitive mind and eagerness to please. Like any young shepherd, he’ll thrive with structure, consistency, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment.

Because he’s still a young, energetic pup who can play a little rough at times, Cyrus is best suited for a home with children over 10. Cats are currently unknown. He’ll do best with an adopter who has German Shepherd experience and understands the breed’s needs as he continues to mature into an amazing adult dog.

Cyrus is located in Maryland and is ready to meet his forever family!

Interested? The first step is to submit an adoption application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. There is no fee or obligation for the app!
