A Tribute to Donald Wood
Today we gathered in the rain, shoulder to shoulder, to honor a man whose presence touched every life around him. Even through the gray skies and heavy hearts, the love, respect, and stories shared for Donald shone brightly.
Donald was the kind of person who showed up for his family, friends and community. His strength, his kindness and his steady way of moving through the world are things that will never be forgotten.
As we walk with him on his final journey, it was clear how deeply he was loved. May his memory continue to guide us, comfort us, and remind us of the importance of living with purpose and compassion just as he did.
Rest in peace, Donald. Your legacy lives on in every heart you touched.✝️🤍

It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our fellow racer and friend Donald Wood.
His passion for racing, his easy smile, and his willingness to lend a hand made him a true part of our racing family.
The track won’t feel the same without him, but the memories, the laughter, and the moments shared on the pits and on the strip will stay with us forever. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family , friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest Easy fellow racer/friend/family.

This was one of the nicest guy I met on Tour always a smile and a great story no matter what race we were at if he was there he made it a point to stop by and say hello and hang out for awhile Roger will be missed

Gaydosh Performance
This incredibly talented and determined the Gaydosh Performance NHRA Pro Stock Drag Racing Team has a rich heritage formulated from years of competing at the sportsman and professional levels of grassroots American drag racing.
At the helm of this organization is the former U.S. Army Sergeant who wears many hats as the co-owner, driver and tuner of the Pypes Performance Chevrolet Camaro, John Gaydosh, Jr. John’s more than twenty-five years of participation within the automotive industry encompasses his experience as a mechanic in the U.S. Army ‘s Motor Pool to his ownership of Gaydosh Performance. His company builds performance Pontiac racing engines, transmissions and drivetrains, catering to the needs of East Coast and Mid-West racers.
The team is known for being the “little team that could.” In 2017 they earned the Never Rests Award for their tireless effort to compete in NHRA.
