Addison Fire Protection District #1 Community Safety Tip

๐Ÿ“ฑ Set Up Your Medical ID and Emergency Information on Your Cell Phone

In an emergency, every second counts. By setting up the Medical ID and emergency contact information on your cell phone, first responders can quickly access critical information if you are unable to communicate.

Your Medical ID can include:
โœ… Emergency contacts
โœ… Medical conditions
โœ… Allergies
โœ… Medications
โœ… Blood type and other important health information

Having this information readily available can assist responding firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers at Addison Consolidated Dispatch Center ACDC in obtaining important emergency contact and medical information when needed.

Take a few minutes today to ensure your Medical ID and emergency information are current and accurate. This simple step could help emergency responders provide faster, more informed care when every second counts.
