Let me kick it to you straight restaurant and bar owners. I've been saving your industry almost 28% by simply respecting your business.

Big brokers are not willing to touch your establishment because they don't make enough money on it. They lack motivation to work on your account correctly until contested by competition.

AND

Contractors! Don't be fooled

We just wrote a few masonry, concrete construction, and paving businesses this week and found some serious gaps in competitors policies. This happens unfortunately on the daily.

Worth a share. Our client had previous coverage the exposure of "pouring concrete." This contractor although did pour concrete, also worked with foundation and doing so would move his class of business into a more expensive rating since injuries and mistakes are more likely to happen with contractors working with foundation - things like houses opposed to just laying road or slabs of concrete.

If a claim would have happened - this claim would have been denied.

Make sure you are working with an agent that knows the inside and out of your policy and not just the bottom line. In this case we were able to save the insured some money and get them the coverage needed.
