ECCistas celebrated the 16th anniversary of ECC and its presidential handover.

Yesterday, July 18, 2026, ECCistas gathered at CNJTL to celebrate 16 years of ECC's existence. This celebration also marked a change in leadership, from former President Simão Belo (2024–2026) to the newly elected president, Estefania Mendes (2026–2028). We extend our deepest gratitude to Simão Belo, and our warmest congratulations to Estefania Mendes. Your leadership journey has just begun, and we wish you and the entire team the very best.

In addition, the event included an award ceremony for the winners of the Debate competition (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Best Speaker, and Most Improved) and the Speech competition (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).

We ended the day with great excitement as everyone enjoyed a barbecue, shared a meal, watched a movie, and danced together.

Our deepest gratitude to founders, seniors, tutor and all ECC students who contributed and took the time to enliven this simple celebration; your presence was the key to the success of this event.

We are also incredibly grateful to CNJTL for providing the venue. Your permission to use the space made this celebration possible and successful.

EEC-TL Speech Competition 2026✨

On Friday, July 12, 2026, EEC-TL held a Speech Competition with the aim of enhancing students’ public speaking skills, confidence, and English proficiency.

The competition was contested by eight (8) talented participants: Viani Zaza, Maria Viana, Ana Carla, Natalia Rangel, Faviana de Jesus, Lucia amaral,Elda dos santos and Agripina Gusmão.

After careful deliberation by the judges, the results were announced:

Highlights from our Debate Competition!

Congratulations to all participants for your passion, teamwork, confidence, and inspiring performances throughout the competition.

The debate competition was contested by eight (8) teams. After several exciting rounds of debate, Triple Three Team, consisting of Benigna, Celsa, and Thacia, secured 3rd place. Chocolatos Team, represented by Senorina, Afonso, and Feby, achieved 2nd place. Meanwhile, Nahak Team, represented by Efon, Yovita, and Bernabe, became the championship of the competitions.

This activity aimed to enhance members’ debating skills, expand their knowledge, and strengthen their public speaking abilities.

Thank you to all participants for your dedication, confidence, and hard work. Every debate is an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire others. We look forward to welcoming you again in future competitions.
