INEC has declared Asogwa Ikeje Israel of the APC as the winner of the Enugu North Senatorial District by-election.

APC: 162,360 votes.

NDC: 3,129 votes

ADC: 1,676 votes

LP: 1,027 votes

PDP Edges APC at Polling Unit 002 as Votes Are Counted in Ikere LGA

Sorting and counting of votes have commenced at Polling Unit 002, Ward 03, Ugele/Akoru in Ikere Local Government Area. Out of 790 registered voters, 237 were accredited to participate in the election.

Results recorded at the polling unit show PDP securing 119 votes, APC 113 votes, ADC 2 votes, and NRM 1 vote, with 2 ballots declared void. The exercise was supervised by Polling Unit Officer, Okafor Kingsley, as party agents observed the counting process.
