Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have written on this matter, but I am allergic to deviation, misinformation, and falsehood whenever they are being peddled.

Adie David Odey, I have always known you as a good family man with a presumed high level of integrity. I strongly believe that the current path you are taking is being orchestrated by opposition forces whose intention is to truncate, trample, and weaken the PDP. This petition, in all honesty, does not appear to reflect your true character.

Elections will come and go, but the roles individuals play during such moments will remain in the minds of the people and shape how history remembers them.

The very first day I saw you as an aspirant of our great party was on the day of the primaries. You did not appear like someone fully prepared for the exercise because, deep down, you believed that Odey Igwe would deliver the bidding of certain paymasters and ensure that Option A4 was not adopted in a manner favourable to your camp.

You never agreed to follow the process to the field or monitor the exercise directly, while your opponent remained on ground till late into the night ensuring transparency throughout the process.

Your claim that Afrike One and Afrike Two did not participate is completely unnecessary and false. There are video recordings and evidence from virtually all the wards outside Ukpah confirming participation. I honestly do not know how your own process was conducted.

For the sake of conscience, democracy, fairness, and political maturity, I urge you to withdraw the petition and allow the will of the people to prevail.

Signed
Don Okpodu E Okpodu

Electorates are not fools to be manipulated. Hon. Omang C. Omang seems to think the people can easily be deceived. Because his opposition candidate, Mr. Eneji Henry Ekang, comes from Ibiaragidi Ward and won the primaries, we suddenly saw him in Ibiaragidi for the first time in nearly three years since his election—drinking with constituents, instead of staying in his usual comfort zones at Oquango and landmark hotel, where ordinary people rarely have access to him.

Leadership is not about appearances when elections are near; it is about consistent presence, accessibility, and performance. This election should not be about party loyalty alone—it should be about individuals, accountability, and results.

Just as the people voted out Edward due to underperformance, this is another opportunity to make a statement. Let us vote for accessibility, vote for accountability, and vote for a leader who will understand the people.

Vote Eneji Henry Ekang. Let us give him the opportunity to serve.

Signed
Don Okpodu E Okpodu

A New Chapter Begins

With deep gratitude to the delegates, supporters, and the good people of Bekwarra, I humbly acknowledge this decisive victory at the PDP State House of Assembly primaries. This result is not just a personal win—it is a collective affirmation of our shared vision for purposeful representation, inclusive leadership, and real development.

As we move to the next stage, I call on every supporter, stakeholder, and well-wisher to remain united, focused, and committed. The primaries are over; now the greater task begins. Together, we will build a stronger movement that speaks for every ward, every community, and every voice in Bekwarra.

The journey to victory continues. Forward together.

Politics Today: What Is Your Scorecard?

As elections draw closer, the people are no longer moved by promises alone. The question now is simple: What is your scorecard?

Leadership is not about noise, propaganda, or empty speeches. It is about visible impact, accountability, and service to the people.

The time has come for Bekwarra leaders to present their achievements and for the people to decide based on performance, capacity, and commitment to development.

As we approach another electoral season, let us support leaders with vision, integrity, and a genuine heart for the people.

The future belongs to those who can show results, not just make promises.
