KAMO AND VICSION LIGHT MASERU ON FIRE

If you attended the 28th May 2022 event then you would remember this special moment when almost the entire Victory Hall audience stood on its feet amazed by the beauty and boldness of Mosotho model Kamo Ratalane, who was not prepared to let her current pregnancy stop her from her long harboured desire to do her first runway showcase at the King Moshoeshoe International Fashion Show – an opportunity she has waited on since 2019 when she was first casted as a model.

South African designer Victor Galeboe who trades under the label Vicsion designed a special lingerie set to be exhibited by Ratalane. But seeing it on a photo is not the same as experiencing it in real life – the way she walked the ramp that night. Her attitude and pace and the way she turned the corners. OMG!!!

To think that this was her first time to walk the ramp. The Kingdom of Lesotho is now surely producing a new crop of mature models who are prepared to go all the way to position themselves in the industry.
