Two years ago, we planned the layout of this home while it was still under construction.

Now that our clients have the possession of the apartment and have come back to us, the first thing we did was sit with that old plan and ask, “Does this still make sense?”

A lot of it did. Some of it didn’t. And bridging that gap is exactly what good space planning looks like in practice.

Great design solves problems beautifully. ✨

One of the most intelligent staircase lighting details we discovered in a Milan showroom transformed a narrow dog-leg staircase into a sculptural experience. Instead of cluttering the walls with sconces or technical fixtures that could interrupt movement and clearance, the design used the vertical void between stair flights to suspend chandelier elements at every level. This not only illuminated the staircase effectively but also turned the circulation space into a striking architectural feature. The layered lighting created depth, rhythm, and visual drama while keeping the staircase open and seamless.
