Results like this speak for themselves!? 🤯

My client has been attending consistent acupuncture/acupuncture facial appointments since July 2023. As my client did not want to go down the roaccutane route, we did everything we possibly could naturally to make sure he was confident in his skin again 🤎

How did we achieved these amazing results:
• Monthly acupuncture / SKIN BALANCE acupuncture facials (has attended 10 appointments in total)
• Understanding the root cause of his acne flare ups
• Tailored TCM nutrition advice (HUGE dietary changes in this case)
• Natural skincare recommendations
• Regular check ins between sessions

We are now working on scarring with micro-needling and keeping on top of monthly acupuncture to prevent any future breakouts. Consistency and hard work between sessions are mandatory when you are working with me. Healing your skin naturally takes time, but it is SO worth it in the end 👏🏼

Treating acne is something that will always be close to my heart after suffering with this myself, and healing organically through Traditional Chinese Medicine. If you feel you have tried everything in your power to heal your skin condition and you want to try a holistic *chemical free* approach, please send me a message 🌱🧴

*Client already tried lymecycline, epiduo and other topical treatments that had been prescribed through the GP but client discontinued due to lack of results*

Photos are aways posted with clients consent.

Picked out some of my favourite patterns/colours, how pretty?! 🤩

Side effects of using your gua sha weekly:
• Sculpted facial contours
• Lifted sagging skin
• Reduction of facial puffiness (cheeks, chin, eyes)
• Eased sinus congestion, tension headaches & jaw tension

I think these are risks we should all be willing to take 😆🤷🏼‍♀️

£21.50 for each gua sha if picked up from me in clinic or can be sent out in the post for an extra £2.50 ✨

The year of the Water Rabbit has passed, meaning Saturday 10th February 2024 marks the start of Lunar New Year - the year of the Wood Dragon 🐉

According to the Chinese zodiac, the year of the Dragon comes once every 12 years. The Dragon has a very high reputation in Chinese culture as it represents a year of Yang, symbolising strength, vitality, and new beginnings.

The Wood element is associated with the Liver and Gallbladder, this represents represents growth, expansion, and flexibility. It’s important to keep an eye on your emotional well-being and look after your Liver and Gallbladder health.

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧🤎

It is no surprise that there has been HUGE popularity in ear seeds since it was aired on Dragon’s Den! I thought I’d do a post just to answer a few common questions I get asked about them ✨

I love using these in clinic for conditions, such as:

I have now added the option to book an ear seed consultation (including treatment & take home seeds) to the booking system.

If you have any questions or would like to speak to me before booking in, please send me a message 🤎

With a background of working in Dermatology in the NHS, and suffering with acne myself in the past, I have a special interest in treating skin conditions naturally through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) 🌱

I am seeing an increase of clients who are suffering with:
Hormonal breakouts
Itchy skin
Topical steroid withdrawal (TSW)

Acupuncture may significantly improve skin conditions, but complete cure depends on various factors such as the diagnosis, severity of the condition, individual response to treatment, lifestyle modifications and dietary changes.

That’s where I come in to provide guidance🙋🏼‍♀️ In an initial acupuncture consultation, an in-depth general health, medical history and physical examination is carried out, followed by a treatment plan.

For my client, we have come up with a bespoke treatment plan that includes:
•Natural skincare recommendations
•TCM dietary advice
•SKIN BALANCE acupuncture facials
•Weekly acupuncture

- This includes 10% discount. Please see DISCOUNTED PACKAGES under my PRICES highlight

Acupuncture has been said to help with skin conditions by:
•Helping to strengthen the body’s histamine response
•Reducing itch and pain
•Balancing stress and anxiety (these can be the trigger of skin conditions for most)
•Targeting the root cause of the problem, meaning a reduction of flare ups
•Reduction of skin lesion size

If you are suffering from any kind of skin condition, and would like to try acupuncture as a safe way of relieving your symptoms, you can book in for the initial acupuncture consultation (includes treatment - link is in bio). Alternatively, please send me a message so I can answer any questions you may have 🤎

Who said you need b*tox to look good?! 😆

With the pressures of social media, having facial amendments may feel extremely tempting, especially when everyone around you is having them (it’s absolutely fine if you choose to do this!). However, if you don’t want to go down this route, have you considered facial acupuncture?

My client comes to see me every month and alternates between micro-needling, acupuncture facials and lymphatic face massage. Her main concern is her forehead lines. These pictures were taken immediately before and after the ANTI-AGE & COLLAGEN BOOST acupuncture facial. We are blown away 🤯✨👏🏼

Steam, cleanse, tone, exfoliation & anti-age mud mask
Facial acupuncture targeting problem areas
Bespoke TCM body acupuncture points to support ageing
Lymphatic face, neck and shoulder massage
Lifting gua sha, jade roller and facial cupping
LED light therapy to boost collagen
Ear seeds to release the ‘feel good hormones’

If you want to start preventing ageing naturally, send me a message or use the link in my bio to book. I have a selection of natural facials for you to choose from 🤎

Overwhelmed with the amount of love/support from all of you. It doesn’t feel real sometimes and I don’t think the growth each year will ever fully sink in.

Gua sha originated in ancient China. It’s one of the oldest forms of Traditional Chinese medicine ever recorded, with historical records dating back to the Stone Age 🤯

1. I tend to use organic jojoba oil as this is friendly for those with acne prone, oily & congested skin.

2. If your skin doesn’t agree with oil, using gua sha with a cleanser in the shower is great as it provides more of a slip, whilst preventing breakouts.

3. This will be no surprise to most - Your gua sha can break if dropped! Please be careful when handling your gua sha, it is a natural stone/crystal and can shatter if dropped on a hard surface.

4. If you use your gua sha incorrectly, there is a chance you can create more sagging to the skin. Please message me if you need some gua sha routine videos sent over!

5. Gua sha has been used in China for thousands of years. It was predominantly used to scrape away illness, help manage diseases, promote circulation, and ease muscle pain. Gua = scrape, sha = sand, referring to the sand-like appearance of petechiae!

My new gua sha are flying through the doors, to secure yours please follow the link under the GUA SHA highlight on my page 🤩🤎✨

For those who don’t have instagram, here’s the link to purchase my new gua sha ✨👇🏼

If you have any questions/concerns, please don’t hesitate to send me a message 🤎

Acupuncture, massage, moxibustion, fire cupping, plus the infrared heat lamp = the ultimate warming treatment in this cold weather 😍🧘🏼‍♀️💆🏼‍♀️❤️‍🔥

Although all of the above treatments are great for back pain, my client attends clinic for other complaints such as: stress, digestive issues, irregular bowel movements and menstrual cycle.

There are many ways I can treat these symptoms in clinic:

Works by stimulating the body's natural pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory response. Acupuncture may also help to improve blood circulation, boost immunity, overall energy, and reduce stress.

Increases blood flow to specific areas to reduce pain and inflammation. It is commonly used to pull toxins from the body and remove any stagnation which may help with migraines, menstrual pain, digestion, respiratory issues and many more.

Moxa is a herb that is widely used by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners. This is commonly used for specific TCM imbalance, menstrual issues, digestion, pain, natural labour induction and turning breech babies.

Works by easing nerve, muscle or joint pain. I utilise this in clinic as an extra comfort to make you feel cosy! I usually add this to your feet, back or abdomen in an appointment, it feels like a hot water bottle but 10x better.

If you want to book your winter warmer appointment, send me a message or book instantly using the link in my bio.

Alternatively, if you’re unsure of what to book or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message 🤎

Meridians act as a pathway and are almost like an invisible web like structure that connects all organs.

In TCM, meridians are channels that run through the body connecting acupuncture points. They are known as an energetic highway in the body. The meridians are composed of 12 principals, and exist in corresponding pairs. They each connect
to an organ such as:

•Heart & Small Intestine
•Lung & Large Intestine
•Kidney & Bladder
•Spleen & Stomach
•Liver & Gallbladder
•Pericardium & San jiao

Yin channels are located on the insides of the body, the Yang on the outside. For the body to function properly, there must be a balance between yin and Yang. When there is imbalance, symptoms such as low mood, digestive, skin and menstruation issues may appear.

Acupuncture points are specifically selected and placed in the channels depending on your underlying TCM imbalance. This is discussed when you come in for your initial acupuncture appointment.

To book an appointment, the booking link is in my bio. Alternatively, you can send me a message to arrange. 🤎

~Does acupuncture hurt?
~How does acupuncture work?
~How many appointments will I need?
~Does cupping hurt?
~How do I prepare for an appointment?
~Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?
~What conditions do you treat?
~Which facial is best suited to me?

Have another question that wasn’t on this post? My direct messages are always open 🤎

After only receiving my first stock in April, I never would have thought 6 months later I’d be almost sold out!

Thank you to everyone who has purchased from me, I truly hope you are incorporating gua sha into your everyday routine. I love encouraging people to try and utilise natural alternatives before considering injectables. It’s amazing to see how increasingly popular gua sha is becoming!

I will not be restocking this style of gua sha because I’ve always loved the idea of bespoke items that not many people have.

However, do not panic! Just know that I’m working on something special behind the scenes 😉
