Last November, we released two additional Donizetti song tracks with Canadian soprano Sarah Dufresne - one in French and one in Italian - with Carlo Rizzi.

You can listen to both on your favourite streaming platform or via our YouTube channel 🎶

This is an extract from 'La Bergère du Tyrol “Ô la belle campagne”' - never recorded before and only recently identfied as part of Donizetti's canon in 2022 by musicologist Ruben Vernazza.

The gift of 🎶 this Friday from us to you - Volume 8 of our Donizetti Song Project is now available to pre-order featuring Nicola Alaimo and our Artistic Director Carlo Rizzi

Our first pre-release track 'Addio Brunetta' is also available now on streaming platforms 🎧 to enjoy:

"Written in Donizetti’s final years, this song revisits material from much earlier in his career (“Mentre dal caro lido”, published in Vol. 2 of our collection), offering a revealing glimpse of the composer’s artistic evolution. While the melodic idea mirrors the closing section of the earlier version, it is enriched with vivid chromatic colour. Subtle harmonic inflections lend the music an exotic, expressive atmosphere."

Get ready to complete your collection OR pre-order all albums in one go as part of our Donizetti Song Project bundle 🎶💿🎶💿
