It not just Big parts I machine. This particular job, an obsolete spool valve collet required a Micro boring bar and face grooving tool to be used. Nothings impossible, Everything can be replicated, it has already been made once before πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

I had a lot of comments on the original Lucas liner kit I made a few years back. How’s this for an upgrade for the same customer, this time not only was it a brand new Lucas castor + 80R but the customer also wanted 5mm 450 HARDOX plate used as well as 8mm 450 HARDOX on the flywheel πŸ₯΅ hopefully this will last a few years of 25 bales a day through her. The chute sections were also lined but unfortunately I lost the pictures. πŸŒΎπŸŒΎπŸ„

This was a pretty cool project to be involved with. A Claas 850 forager which had to be cut down by 150mm either side before heading to its new home in Guernsey. This was not easy. The cab platforms, handrails, steps, step base platform all had to be cut down, the fuel filler re positioned and many panels had to be made from scratch to tie it all together nicely, these included the small infill strip behind the steps, the handrail panel on the step base platform, the lower door panel above the toolbox and as well as a whole new toolbox fabricated using a set of doors off a breaker machine. I was also asked to fabricate a set of additive drum holders for this machine.

I used swear words that I never even knew existed on this job but I got it done. Compensator Ram line bore, bottom bore had very little room to work and the top bore had even less room and was a blind hole 😩

Improvements to a Genie cherry picker boom linkage. 35mm wide bosses made and welded in line with existing pin holes. Bosses were machined undersize on the ID and line bored through after welding to ensure the pin alignment was spot on. πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸ

One I did back before Christmas: a 1m wide galvanised walkway, calculated to safely take over a tonne of weight per bay, this will allow for sandbags to be placed along the side of the clamp as it is un sheeted, all ready for when they are needed again for sheeting back down. Customer is fabricating the handrails themselves πŸ„ πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
