The City Tee collection keeps evolving as Distance continues to grow, now reaching Japan. Tokyo and Osaka join the map alongside Lyon, Paris, Iten, and Copenhagen the cities that have been part of the story from day one.
Some pieces have been refreshed over time, others stayed exactly the same the kind you always come back to. This Friday, we’re dropping a new CPH City Tee for marathon week.

With Distance arriving in Japan, Osaka was an obvious next step after Tokyo.
The city stands out for how present running is in everyday life. From regular loops around Osaka Castle to the energy of the Osaka Marathon, there’s a real culture here, grounded, accessible, and shared by a wide community of runners.
That’s exactly where Distance belongs. Our second home in Japan. A new space to connect with the local scene and keep building what we believe in.

From Lyon to CPH, everyone was on a mission.
Two Squad Missions, one goal: qualify for the Squad Race, the European final in Barcelona and London. Mixed teams of four, 45 minutes on the clock, and one obsession: stack as many loops as possible. Strategy, effort, and full commitment in the streets.
Cloudmonster 3 and Cloudmonster Hyper tearing up the asphalt while the crowds kept the energy high. We even caught a glimpse of LightSpray with the On Cloudmonster Hyper LS just landing in store.
Big respect to everyone who showed up, pushed for the squad and didn’t let go until the end. And congrats to the winners, see you in May to hurt again ✌️

We’ve always felt a pull towards Japan, a country where craft matters, where details are never an afterthought, where technology and tradition somehow coexist without argument. And a country that runs. Seriously runs.

Distance opens in Shibuya, our first store in Asia. Not a pop-up, not an experiment. A home. The same obsession with running done right, in a city that understands obsession better than most.

For the ekiden relay runner, the marathon obsessive, the 5am crowd, the ramen-after-the-long-run crew, the total beginner who just bought their first pair. FOR ALL RUNNERS. Always.
