Recently discovered this gem of a neighborhood while on a bike tour and knew I had to come back and take some photos. I love how calm and green everything is. Who knows where in Leipzig you can find this place? ;)

// Duesseldorf Rhine Promenade Views 📷

Captured a few views strolling the Rhine Promenade last week when in Duesseldorf for the closing event of a UX/UI course I took over the last months. I brought my Nikon Z6 II and my Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S along and rushed for a quick photo walk before heading back to Leipzig.

Tried a new workflow here. Send the RAW files to my iPhone via Nikon SnapBridge, edited them in my favorite retro app – turns out it also works with RAWs – then some last corrections in Lightroom and here they are. Love the lens, love the whole process of sending them to your phone quickly 📲

I don’t know why, but to me these slightly winding streets are so pretty. Captured with the Nikkor Z70-200mm f2.8 VR S on my Nikon Z6II.

Had some time left in Düsseldorf this morning, so I rushed to Hofgarten, the rhine river and some parts of the old town. Found these pretty angles around the Basilika St. Lambertus.

Of course I brought the camera and the heavy lens for a two night business trip. Surprised by how well Nikon‘s Nikkor Z70-200mm f2.8 VR S performed as a ‚tourist‘ lens. Wasn’t sure whether it would limit me in those narrow alleys, but the telephoto lens allowed me to be much more selective and intentional with my shots.

Colors are finally back in town!

After what felt like the longest, coldest, darkest Winter for a long time, everything is finally coming back to life. All the flowers and trees start to blossom up, everywhere you look there’s fresh green shining through the branches.

Took my Nikon Z6II with the Nikkor Z70-200mm f2.8 VR S mounted to it. Played around with the focus point when standing right under, with that lens almost in those trees, inhaling the scent and colors of Spring in Leipzig ;)
