A few pics from our 2026 Locus Ski Trip! ⛷️❄️

We spent an amazing weekend together in a remote spot in the Czech mountains, got picked up by a snow scooter 🚜❄️ that took us to the ski resort, and then enjoyed a couple of days carving down the slopes 🎿 and playing games in the evenings 🎲

Thanks to everyone who made this trip so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one next year! 🙌✨

As is tradition, we had our Christmas Dinner last Friday! 🎄✨

The group was smaller than usual this year with a few last-minute cancellations (the seasonal flu seems to be making the rounds in Prague 🤧), but we still had an amazing time and kept everyone who couldn’t join in our thoughts. ❤️

And yes… some of us ended up dancing the night away afterward! 😉💃🕺

This week, we welcomed a group of students from Utrecht who visited with .are.fundamentals to tackle a meaningful challenge: How can Locus continue to grow while staying true to what makes us unique? ✨

Over the past few days, they’ve filled our meeting room with ideas 💡, running brainstorm sessions, chatting with our members to gather insights, and preparing a final presentation packed with thoughtful conclusions. 📊

We’re genuinely impressed by their work and grateful for all the valuable feedback. Lots of food for thought for our team 😉🧠

Happy Halloween! 🎃🦇
Even though Halloween is officially today, we got into the spirit early by joining a neighborhood Trick-or-Treat for Charity last week! 🤝🍬

We transformed the Locus building hall into a spooky candy stop 👻 and, thanks to our amazing volunteers who showed up in costumes and helped run the stand, we handed out treats to local kids while also raising funds for Czech children in need. 💛🇨🇿

Thanks to our members who volunteered and to everyone who joined and contributed 🧡🎃

It's the details that make the difference. 💛 A few little corners in our space:

1. Our members wall, showcasing pictures and short intros of the members of our community. 🖼️👥

2. A small board in the kitchen where we announce the events happening that day so no one misses out! 📅☕

3. Our entry hall, featuring books with beautiful historical pictures of Vinohrady and Žižkov and, of course, lots of plants! 📚🌿

4. A world map that we keep updated with the current member nationalities (at the moment of writing this, there are 30 different countries represented!) 🗺️🌏

It’s the little things that make our space feel like home 🥰
