What if we were never taught the words “God” or “evil”?
Would we still divide the world into those two ideas?
Or would we simply recognize that some people bring peace… and some bring pain?
From the day we’re born, we’re given names for things. We inherit beliefs, traditions, fears, and faith from the people around us. Those teachings become the lens through which we interpret the world. Some see God in a church. Some see God in nature. Some feel the Divine in silence, love, or the quiet certainty that they are never truly alone.
The same is true of evil.
One person sees demons. Another sees trauma, fear, greed, or the consequences of human choices. Different cultures describe these experiences in different ways, yet the feelings behind them can be remarkably similar.
As a metaphysical educator, I’ve learned that labels matter less than awareness.
Whether you call it God, Source, the Universe, Creator, Spirit, or simply love… the question isn’t what name you give it.
The question is: What kind of energy are you choosing to align with?
The same can be asked of darkness. Is it an external force? Is it the absence of love? Is it fear taking control? Each person must answer that for themselves through experience, not because someone else told them what to believe.
Real spirituality isn’t about accepting someone else’s truth.
It’s about becoming quiet enough to discover your own.
