Roaming Roots Farm will be at the Rossland's Incredible Farmers Market tomorrow from 2pm to 5:30pm.
We specialize in long storage garlic to get you through the winter !
We also have beautiful flower braids and
wreath if you’re looking to gift someone special with a treat!

I’ve been having a little too much fun those last couple of days. Not very efficient on cleaning the garlic but that’s my way of dealing with the smoke! Every piece we make is available for purchase 💕 - you can take a closer look at those beauties at the Nelson Night Market on August 21st Nelson, BC. Farmers Market
On days I feel less motivated (like after a week of breathing smoke from wildfires), I try to focus on the more creative side of my work. This is my first wreath, made with willow branches harvested on our farm last year, red Russian mini garlic bulbs and dried flowers from our farm 💕 this wreath will be available for purchase at the farmer market but it’s also available for shipping.

Folks, the first market of the season was a blast!!! I love talking with the member of our community, the people visiting our cute little town and all the garlic lovers ❤️ thank you for all the support ! And thank Nelson, BC. Farmers Market for putting on such a great event !
The cleaning process of our bulbs is quite long… I like them to keep as many layers of skin as possible so they preserve for a long time but that requires a lot of brushing and patience! Don’t mind my serious face, I’m still learning how to act behind the camera 🫣

A little flower interruption during this busy time to showcase my first bridal bouquet for the wonderful and magical Rose Brown . Growing flowers for my friend weddings has been the best gift of all. And this one was a special one, adding a deer antler to this very romantic bouquet was the perfect addition to match the wild valley woman my friend is 💕. I am still learning and processing this flower journey, please reach out for any event you might have !
I can’t believe we did it. 11 000 garlic bulbs later, the field is empty. It was a big week, and the next two will be as busy. But it feels good to have finish this step of the process! I am so grateful for all the help I got, I could not have done this alone! Thank you 🙏 now on to the cleaning process and braiding!
