Tuesday Tips 🛁
A well-organized bathroom can make the morning rush feel a little less rushed—and help prevent your countertops from becoming a parking lot for toiletries!
Start by giving every drawer, shelf and cabinet a clear purpose. Keep everyday essentials within easy reach, group similar items together and use small containers or drawer dividers to stop everything from shifting around.
A few simple ideas can make a big difference:
🧴 Keep daily products together in one easy-to-reach spot
🧺 Use baskets for towels, extra toiletries and cleaning supplies
💄 Add drawer organizers for cosmetics and smaller items
🗑️ Remove expired products and anything you no longer use
🏷️ Label containers so everyone knows where things belong
✨ Keep countertops as clear as possible to make the room feel larger and cleaner
If you’re preparing your home for sale, don’t forget that buyers may open drawers and cabinets. Neat, uncluttered storage helps show that the bathroom has enough room for everyday necessities. It can also make the entire space feel cleaner, calmer and better maintained.
A little organization can go a long way—especially in one of the busiest rooms in the house. 🏡
Thinking about buying or selling in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows or the surrounding area? I’d be happy to help.

🏛️ Throwback Thursday: Two Municipalities, One Hall
This old photograph of Mission City’s Municipal Hall tells a pretty interesting story about how the community was once governed.
The Municipal Hall was built in 1929 on First Avenue as a joint project between the Village of Mission and the District of Mission. At the time, they were two separate municipalities — and remarkably, both operated out of this one building, each occupying its own half.
Imagine sharing City Hall with the municipality next door! 😄
The building continued to play an important role in the community for decades. It was extensively renovated and enlarged in 1954, and when Mission City and the District of Mission amalgamated in 1969, it became the municipal offices for the newly combined District of Mission.
In 1974, municipal operations moved to a new hall on Stave Lake Road and the old First Avenue building was sold. But its story wasn't over. The former Municipal Hall went on to house restaurants and businesses, including the Old Town Hall Restaurant, Dino's Restaurant and Stasia's Family Restaurant.
It's one of those buildings that demonstrates how a community can change dramatically while pieces of its past continue to find new purposes.
Do you remember the old Municipal Hall — either during its civic days or later as one of the restaurants?

There’s a certain kind of opportunity that doesn’t come along every day… the kind where someone with vision walks into a space and instantly sees what it could become. 🏙️✨
This fifth-floor condo in Richmond’s Centre Pointe building isn’t just another listing — it’s a chance to create something truly your own.
With over 1,350 square feet, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, wheelchair-friendly access, and panoramic views, the bones are already here. The rest? That’s where imagination comes in. 🎨🔨
Yes, it needs work. But sometimes the best homes start with a little dust, a few paint swatches, and someone willing to see past the “before” stage.
The layout offers:
✨ Spacious living and dining areas
✨ Large primary bedroom with ensuite
✨ Balcony space to enjoy the view
✨ Outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise centre, and recreation facilities
✨ Concrete construction in a central Richmond location close to shopping and marina access
For investors, renovators, or buyers trying to enter the market in a sought-after area, this could be one of those “glad we looked at it” properties. 🏡
And because this is an Order for Conduct of Sale foreclosure, there’s also the rare chance to step into a property with serious upside potential for the right buyer.
Sometimes the diamond just needs a little polishing. 💎

🏡 Tuesday Tips: Boost Your Home's Curb Appeal
Thinking about selling your home? First impressions matter more than you might think.
Studies have found that a well-maintained exterior can increase a home's value and make it more appealing to potential buyers. The good news? You don't always need a major renovation to make a big impact.
Here are a few simple ways to improve your home's curb appeal:
🌿 Keep your lawn mowed and shrubs neatly trimmed.
🌸 Add a splash of colour with fresh flowers or new mulch.
🎨 Touch up peeling paint, especially around the front door and trim.
📬 Replace worn-out house numbers or an old mailbox.
🚗 Clean your driveway and walkway by removing weeds, dirt, and stains.
Small updates can help your home look cared for, welcoming, and ready to impress from the moment buyers pull up.
Even if you're not planning to sell right away, these simple projects can help protect your investment and keep your home looking its best.
Have questions about preparing your home for today's market? I'd be happy to help!
