We now have 2 new Shodan's in Okinawa Goju ryu Karate. Congratulations!!!

Sensei Frank Clayton has selected six competitors from our school to represent Team BC in Windsor, Ontario in June 2026. To help offset costs for the families, we will be hosting several fundraising events. Our first fundraiser will be a movie night; we hope you can attend.

Sensei Frank will be hosting the CBBHOF event in Vancouver British Columbia 2026.

The CBBHOF recognize’s pioneers in all martial arts: Karate, Kickboxing, Taekwondo Kwon Do, Judo, Jujitsu etc.

Each year The CBBHOF inducts up to 10 new hall of famers. It is his hope that the majority will be from the West Coast.

He is looking forward to hosting the event on behalf of CBBHOF in our most beautiful city in Canada - Vancouver!

This Sunday, we start Orange shirt week! Everyone can wear their Orange shirt this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the dojo.
So wear your orange shirt to class in support of truth and reconciliation day. Orange shirt day this year is September 30th. The dojo will be open.

We had an excellent Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan seminar with Tamaoyse Sensei from Okinawa. A huge thank you to Canadian Martial Arts Academy (Powell River) for hosting the event. A thank you to Sensei Suzanne from Maple Ridge Karate Center. Congratulations to all the new Shodans!
