Looks can be deceiving.

We recently inspected a Deere 350GLC hydraulic pump and a Komatsu PC200-7 swing motor fresh from the aftermarket market.

Once opened, we found impact damage, valve plate wear, contamination, corrosion, improper assembly, and other quality concerns that should have been caught before shipment.

The swing motor showed similar issues, including impact marks and valve plate damage—clear signs that quality control was lacking.

That's the risk with some aftermarket components. They may look great on the outside, but hidden defects can lead to costly failures and downtime.
