We're heading to Calgary for the Global Energy Show and we're bringing a putting green.
June 9–11 at the BMO Centre, 30,000+ energy professionals under one roof. We'll be there.
Energy companies deal with IT and cybersecurity challenges that don't sleep - complex infrastructure, critical uptime, and operational data that can't be compromised.
Our Cyberscopic program delivers 24/7 SOC monitoring and real-time threat response, without the enterprise price tag. And our ManagedCare managed IT services keep your systems running like they're ours.
Come find us at our booth, take a swing on our mini putt green, and you could walk away with two green fees and a cart at Banff Springs Golf Course.
If you aren't looking to golf 18 holes, you can use the gift certificate for any services at Banff Springs!
Swing by and say hello. Drop a comment or send us a message if you'll be at the show.

"We'll deal with it when something breaks."
We hear this a lot. And we understand, when IT is running fine, it's invisible. But reactive IT has a price tag most businesses never see until it's too late.
Downtime. Emergency vendor fees. Lost hours. Staff frustration. And the slow drain of a team spending time on IT tickets instead of the work that actually grows your business.
Strategic IT looks different. It means problems get caught before they become crises. It means your technology is actually aligned with where your business is going, not just keeping the lights on.
Every Reis client gets a dedicated vCIO: a strategic partner who understands your business goals and makes sure your IT supports them. Not a helpdesk ticket. A relationship.
If your IT feels like a cost centre rather than a business asset, let's talk about what that shift looks like.

We're just over a week out from the Global Energy Show and we wanted to let you know that it's not ALL business. You can take a shot at 18 holes at Banff Springs Golf Course while you're at it?
Come find us at booth 306, step up to our putting green, and you could walk away with two green fees and a cart. Not a bad addition to a Calgary trip. (If you're not into golf, you get the certificate for anything you wish to experience at Banff Springs)
And if you want to talk ManagedCare, Cyberscopic, or what secure AI actually looks like for an energy business - we'll be right there for that too.
Swing by and say hello. 👋

Tonight, Waterloo Region celebrates 51 years of honouring extraordinary women.
The KW Oktoberfest BMO Financial Group Women of the Year ceremony is one of the most meaningful events on our regional calendar and we're proud to be part of it.
51 years. Hundreds of women recognised. One community that keeps showing up for them.
At Reis Informatica, supporting women in business and technology isn't a campaign, it's woven into who we are. It's our leadership team. It's our Gold Sponsorship of GitCon's "Girls in Tech" Conference.
To every nominee and recipient at tonight's ceremony: your work matters. Your leadership matters. This region is better because of you.
Congratulations to all. 🌟

The Global Energy Show Canada is June 9–11 at the BMO Centre, one of the biggest energy industry events in the country, bringing together 30,000+ professionals from across oil & gas, renewables, and energy tech.
And we'll be there.
Energy companies in Alberta and across Canada face the same IT and cybersecurity challenges we see every day with Ontario manufacturers and industrial businesses, complex infrastructure, high-stakes uptime requirements, and growing pressure to protect operational data.
That's exactly what we do.
If you're attending the Global Energy Show and want to talk IT strategy, cybersecurity, or how AI is starting to change the game for energy operators, come find us. We'd love the conversation.
Drop a comment or send us a message to connect while we're there.

71% of Canadian SMBs are using AI or generative tools right now.
Most of them are doing it without a plan, a policy, or anyone checking whether it's safe.
That's not a knock on the business owners, it's on the industry. The conversation has been dominated by hype, not by practical guidance for companies with 25 to 250 people.
Here's what ""AI readiness"" actually means for an SMB:
1. You know what tools your team is already using
2. You have a basic policy on what data can go into those tools
3. You've identified two or three workflows where AI would save real time
4. You have someone accountable for keeping that list current
That's it. That's the starting line.
If you're not sure where you land on that list, we built an assessment specifically for this. Drop a comment or send us a message and we'll walk you through it, no pitch, just clarity.

A question we get almost every week:
"We already have an IT person. Why would we need an MSP?"
It's a fair question. Here's the honest answer.
Your internal IT person is great at keeping things running day to day. Help desk tickets, printer issues, onboarding new hires. That's real and it matters.
What they often don't have is the bandwidth, or the specialization, for what's coming next. AI implementation. Cyber threat response. Compliance frameworks. Cloud architecture.
That's not a criticism. It's just a scope problem.
Co-managed IT means your internal team doesn't disappear, they get backup. Senior expertise on call. A security layer they couldn't build alone. And time back to focus on the work that actually moves the business.
For most SMBs, it costs less than a second hire and covers more ground than a full department.
If that sounds relevant to where you're at, let's talk.

53% of SMB leaders say AI creates security gaps they can't handle.
They're right to be concerned. And the answer isn't to slow down on AI, it's to make sure your security posture keeps pace with it.
A few things that change the moment your team starts using AI tools:
→ Data boundaries blur. Employees may be pasting client data, contracts, or financials into tools that store inputs externally.
→ Phishing gets harder to spot. AI-generated attacks are more convincing, more personalized, and harder to train against.
→ Shadow IT expands. New tools get adopted without IT's knowledge every week.
None of this means AI isn't worth it. It means your security stack needs to be designed for the environment your business actually operates in, not the one from five years ago.
That's a big part of what we do. Happy to talk through what that looks like for your team.

We're proud to share that Hannah Feeney and the Reis Informatica AI team have been named finalists for the Innovation Award at the Guelph Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence.
Hannah joined us as Director of Client Success and has been at the centre of how we've built and delivered our AI practice and the client experience behind it. This nomination is a reflection of that work.
A big thank you to fellow team members, who put us forward. It means a lot.
The winners are announced June 18th at the Awards of Excellence gala. We'll keep you posted.
Congratulations, Hannah, well deserved.

We go live today.
Over the past few weeks, one theme has been consistent:
AI is not the challenge.
Clarity is.
Today’s session is focused on addressing that directly.
We’ll be covering:
Where AI fits within your organization
Which use cases are worth prioritizing
How to move forward with structure, security, and control
If you’re joining us, we look forward to the conversation.
If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time!
