🌧️ RESTAURANT UPDATE — MONDAY, AUGUST 31

Well… Mother Nature has officially won this round. ☔

Due to today’s weather and course conditions, The Restaurant at Sunset will be CLOSED for the day.

With no carts on the course and a whole lot of rain coming down, we’ve decided it makes the most sense to call it a day.

Thank you for your understanding! ❤️

We’ll be back Tuesday with our Oven-Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Teriyaki Glaze, Fried Rice & Sautéed Cabbage. 😋

Mother Nature has had a little too much fun with us! ☔

Due to the amount of rain and wet conditions, no power carts will be permitted on the course today.

Walking is still permitted. 👟⛳

We know this may be inconvenient, but protecting the course now helps keep it in great shape for everyone once things dry out.

🍴 A new week means a new lineup of features at Sunset! ☀️⛳

Here’s what’s cooking August 31–September 5:

🥩 Monday: Boneless, braised Short Ribs with garlic mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables
🍽️ Tuesday: Oven-Roasted Pork Tenderloin with teriyaki glaze, fried rice & sautéed cabbage
🚫 Wednesday: CLOSED ALL DAY as we host the Swinging Grandmas Tournament
🍍 Thursday: Pineapple Chicken Skewers with a BLT salad
🐟 Friday: Grilled Trout with creamy spinach penne

And then we’re heading into the long weekend with a bang! 🎶🍕

This Saturday & Sunday, Goderich Sunset Golf Club will be closed to the public as we host our Club Championships & Member Appreciation Weekend.

We’re looking forward to two days of golf, friendly competition and, most importantly, celebrating the members who make Sunset the community it is. ❤️

Despite the less-than-cooperative weather, our teams played on and made the most of our staff scramble on Monday, August 24! Afterward, everyone gathered to enjoy a lovely meal together—and a few well-earned laughs.
